MASCARA REVIEW

I got a new mascara today.  I always find it the hardest to find a good mascara.  I've tried a bunch of them over time and I'll comment on some of those later but today I'll be telling you about TOO FACED "Better Than False Lashes" Mascara.  Its about 28 buck-a-roos.  That is steep for a mascara but I find that when doing my own makeup or others, beautiful long lashes are hard to come by, so I figured I'd give it a whirl.

So its a 3 step process.  First you put a base coat of the gold tube and that looks like regular mascara with a medium sized brush.  While the base coat is still wet, you put on the white tube. Whats inside of it looks like dry cotton fibers on a mascara wand and you brush it on.  It sticks to the wet coat and you can see the extension start to happen.  Then you finish with another coat of the gold tube.  The difference is pretty remarkable.  I took a before and after for everyone.

And that is after just one coat of the mascara with no curling.  Pretty awesome.  I can't wait to use it with full eye makeup!

So, the skinny.....Price is a little steep, but to me, its worth it for long glamourous lashes with no falsies glued on.  Some others that are good but not as big of results as this are: Tarte "lights camera lashes" and Benefit "They're Real".  Those are both in the $18 range.  For a drugstore brand, I'd pick Falsies by Maybelline.
